We have many years of experience in both residential and commercial electrical services including homes and condominiums, new construction, renovations, commercial and industrial spaces, warehouses, and retail locations. We also offer bucket truck services for street lighting repair, enhancements, and utility work.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Foreman/Leadman to join our dynamic team in a well-established, non-union electrical contracting firm. Our company excels in providing exceptional electrical installations and maintenance services, with a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction and employee welfare.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate small teams of 1 to 4 mechanics and junior mechanics.
Interpret electrical drawings and effectively lay out work areas.
Compile material lists and utilize job tracking forms as necessary.
Execute installations of EMT and PVC conduit, M/C, THHN and NMC cable, and various electrical boxes.
Manage the setup of electrical panels, meter pans, switchboards, and associated services, both overhead and underground.
Provide troubleshooting and repair services in response to service calls.
Operate electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools proficiently.
Adhere to the work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional overtime opportunities available.
Required Skills
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
Strong organizational skills for material management and job tracking.
Expertise in installing various types of conduit and electrical components.
Excellent problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting electrical issues.
Competence in using a range of electrical tools and testing equipment.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is essential.
High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
