MAN Energy Solutions Portugal offers services to maritime traffic in the North Atlantic as one of the exclusive hubs for this area. A special long lasting agreement with Lisnave Shipyard enables us to offer repairs and overhaul on all kind of turbochargers brands and assist all our dry docking customers at the yard. Our small but dedicated team has been serving our customers since 2008, creating the roots for a trusty and reliable after sales service for both maritime and power customers.

We are currently looking for a Superintendent for 2-stroke engines. Your duty is to manage complex field service missions, onshore and offshore. You will be stationed at MAN ES Portugal premises in Palmela, your home location can be flexible within Portugal.

We can offer you the following tasks

• Execution / Supervision of mechanical works at customer sites
• Planning, organization, preparation & coordination of such site works with MAN ES internal as well as customer staff & contractors
• Professional guidance and instruction of the crew employed (own, clients and / or contractors) during the site works
• Perform service tasks on new installations, maintenance and repairing activities on 2 stroke MAN engines
• Diagnose reasons for engine/turbocharger failure
• Perform administration, reporting and documentation for the work performed
  
  

You Can Help Us With These Qualifications

• Graduate from Senior High School and Apprentice training with experience > 5 years with diesel engines in technical service position, especially MAN two stroke engines
• Experience in reading technical documents, instructions, sketches/explanation of details and cross sectional drawings
• Good reporting skills and reporting any findings in the field in writing
• Willingness to work in flexible schedule
• High knowledge of Spanish and English language, written and spoken.
