Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation and integration of Experian Applications as part of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) program. This critical role will facilitate coordination and communication within the project team, reporting directly to the EHR Program Management Office. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment of vital healthcare applications that enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, Application Manager, and fellow project managers to synchronize project activities.
Implement and configure Revenue Cycle systems as outlined by stakeholders, ensuring alignment with state and organizational requirements.
Facilitate effective communication between NCDHHS and various state agencies, including the Office of the State Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Department of Information Technology.
Guide the workflow design, system build, testing, and troubleshooting for diverse vendor applications.
Maintain project scope, schedule, and quality while organizing resources and managing issues and risks.
Conduct regular status meetings with team members to discuss deliverables, budget, and milestones.
Develop and sustain integrated project plans in accordance with state project management methodologies, utilizing Microsoft Project and MS SharePoint.

Required Skills

Extensive experience in managing healthcare IT projects and familiarity with the full Experian Health Products Suite.
Strong knowledge of privacy legislation, including HIPAA, and CMS Inpatient Psychiatric Facility regulations.
Proficient in revenue cycle billing processes, hospital billing, professional billing, and claims processing operations within a behavioral health context.
Demonstrated expertise in health information technology interoperability with a focus on revenue cycle systems.
Skilled in analytical thinking, conflict resolution, and project management methodologies.

Qualifications

A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle billing and related functions.
At least 5 years of experience in health IT interoperability.
Proven track record with Experian Health, Change Healthcare, or Relay Health, alongside experience in integrating healthcare applications.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
