We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager for a 1-year hybrid contract position located in Raleigh, NC. This pivotal role focuses on the successful implementation of a centralized Electronic Health Record (EHR) helpdesk utilizing ServiceNow ITSM and the CXone Cloud Contact Center platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, particularly within the healthcare sector, with a commitment to enhancing end-user support and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the comprehensive project management process for the establishment of a centralized EHR helpdesk.
Create detailed project plans, outlining timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to meet project deliverables within the defined scope.
Facilitate effective communication among internal IT teams, clinical stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
Oversee the customization and configuration of ServiceNow ITSM modules to enhance helpdesk functionality.
Design and implement automated workflows within ServiceNow to streamline helpdesk operations.
Configure the CXone Cloud Contact Center to optimize helpdesk communications and call management processes.
Serve as a critical member of the EHR Change Management Board, advising on change management workflows within ServiceNow.
Gather user requirements and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the helpdesk solution aligns with organizational goals.
Provide continuous support post-implementation, monitoring performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills
Extensive project management acumen, capable of navigating complex, multi-phase initiatives.
In-depth knowledge of ITSM best practices, particularly in designing effective workflows via ServiceNow.
Proficiency in using the CXone Cloud Contact Center or comparable solutions.
Strong grasp of Electronic Health Record systems and healthcare IT environments.
Exceptional communication and leadership attributes, with an ability to engage and influence diverse teams.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess system performance and drive process enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or ITIL certification is highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, particularly in healthcare IT or EHR implementations.
Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow ITSM platform implementation, including workflow design and optimization.
Experience with EHR Change Management processes, including governance workflows.
