Job Responsibilities

Configure, manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, cloud and systems, including

networking, Microsoft Server environment, Microsoft Azure, Azure Active

Directory/Active Directory, SaaS, SQL, VOIP (such as 3CX, MS Teams) and on-premise

applications etc. from vendors that include Fortinet, HP, Aruba, Microsoft and VMware

Review systems for upgrades and improvements
Monitor customer systems and proactively respond to service issues.
Respond to modification (moves, add, or changes) requests.
Maintain software/firmware versions and revision control of customer applications
Develop a thorough understanding of each customer’s system components and
configurations.
Document troubleshooting steps and processes using an internal ticketing system.
Identify trends to become more efficient on future requests.
Proactively prevent faults or issues in our environments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and

processes.

Develop and deploy automation scripts using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Bicep,

or Terraform to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

Utilize source control systems (e.g., Git, SVN, Devops) to manage code, configurations,

and scripts, ensuring version control, collaboration, and tracking of changes

Implement and manage configuration management systems to maintain consistency

across IT environment

Generate reports on system performance, security incidents, and capacity planning
Creation of knowledge base documentation, including “how to” or “frequently asked
questions” for internal use to support efficient process improvements

Qualifications

Experience in system design, implementation, and administration.
Experience and knowledge of Active Directory/Microsoft Azure Active Directory
Experience in Microsoft M365/Office365 Cloud Products.
Experience on VoIP (SIP), WiFi, unified communications other small

business/enterprise IP applications

Automation, especially scripting with PowerShell, or other methods like Ansible, Terraform or Bicep.
Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of projects.
A strong awareness of security systems and protocols.
