Job description

Your Role

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will:

  • Work closely with the VP / Business Development Manager and Service Manager. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and distributing positive branding messages for the company.
  • Seek and identify target customers/markets to develop sales opportunities for the company to bid through Alpha’s Convex/Atlas platform.
  • Develop and maintain the company's website, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram pages with new content regularly.
  • Plan and carry out direct marketing activities.
  • Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organizational development.
  • Collaborates with sales and product teams to develop branding messages.
  • Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company management and leadership.
  • Collects and maintains sales records required to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Forecasts and analyzes sales trends, marketing strategies, and product performance; prepares and presents reports summarizing information; makes recommendations based on analysis.
  • Develops and distributes materials related to sales, training, and marketing.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Need:

  • Must be self-driven, and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling, etc.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs and web-based applications including Microsoft Outlook, MS Project, Word, and Excel. Quickpen a plus.
  • Must be a very competent writer of business letters.
  • The highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to take responsibility and meet assigned deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the construction industry is helpful.
  • Social Media knowledge.
  • Website Editing.
  • Software knowledge to tailor marketing materials for the company.
  • Email communication, deploying mass email solicitations.
