Application Engineer

An incredible opportunity awaits you as Application Engineer. We are seeking an engineer with a background and/or interest in electronics/automation and a passion for technical challenges. As part of our team, you will take responsibility for designing and leading the technical aspects of our control systems projects for large vessels.

As Application Engineer you are the technical lead from signed contract to installation and start-up of our control systems. You have the responsibility to design and adapt the control system according to our customers specific needs where almost every project is unique. The work will include hardware design in CAD, but also greater system integrations and specifying software functions. In this position you will work in close collaboration with our customers as well as internal functions, such as the main project manager, software developers and service engineers.

We think you should have

To succeed in this position, we see that you have a university education in electronics/automation or equivalent work experience/knowledge. Experience of electrical construction in CAD tools is meritorious. Due to the nature of an international customer and supplier base, high level of English, both written and oral, is important. Communication skills in other languages is considered an advantage.
