Curative is growing our Software QA team to help us build the future of healthcare. Our team is remote and we are dedicated to creating an ambitious and diverse organization to represent and support the members we serve.
Responsibilities
Immerse yourself in our products by conducting thorough exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential issues
Develop and maintain automated test suites, building robust frameworks that scale
Identify gaps and lead efforts to improve test coverage and quality
Work closely with the engineering team to implement quality practices early in the process, addressing issues before they impact users
Collaborate with product managers to define clear, testable requirements
Enhance test frameworks
Automate continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development workflows
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement by mentoring colleagues and sharing expertise in testing best practices
Assist the team in managing and maintaining test data effectively
Desired Experience
8+ years in quality assurance or software development with a strong focus on both manual and automated testing
Proficiency in JavaScript and Java/Kotlin and experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Kotest or similar frameworks
A creative and methodical approach to uncovering bugs and ensuring quality
Proven ability to integrate testing strategies early in the development process
Strong communication and teamwork skills to partner effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders
A proactive approach to taking responsibility for product quality and driving improvements across teams
Nice To Haves
Proficiency with data engineering technologies including DBT, Fivetran, cloud-based data warehouse services like , Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift, file formats like Iceberg, Parquet for Data Lakes, and tooling for fast analytics like Trino and Apache Spark
Experience testing AI/ML-based products
Knowledge of performance and load testing tools and methodologies
