The Claims Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of claims, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills to handle claims efficiently, maintain compliance, and provide excellent communication with all stakeholders. The Claims Manager ensures claims processes align with company standards and contribute to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Compensation: 900AUD/month (paid twice a month),
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST (40hrs/week)
Location: Remote
Availability: Start ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Management
Oversee and manage all assigned claims from initiation to closure.
Review and prepare scopes of work within 48 hours of site attendance.
Monitor claims life cycle, ensuring resolution within the 7-10-day target.
Proactively identify and address any delays or obstacles in the claims process.
Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders.
Provide clear, timely updates on claims progress and address inquiries professionally.
Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate required actions and resources.
Documentation and Reporting
Ensure all documentation, including attendance reports and claims files, is completed accurately and submitted on time.
Maintain detailed records of claims activities to support compliance and audit requirements.
Generate regular reports on claims progress and performance metrics for management.
Compliance and Standards
Follow established procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy in claims handling.
Use available tools and technology to ensure precise and efficient claims processing.
Process Improvement
Identify areas for improvement within the claims process to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
Work with management to implement changes and optimize workflows.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree relevant to the role
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant in a similar role
Proven experience in claims management, insurance, or a related industry
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple claims efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach to stakeholder interactions.
Proficiency in compiling and managing documents, including the ability to create and organize PDFs for claims documentation.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in documentation, reporting, and compliance with claims handling standards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address delays or obstacles.
Strong leadership qualities and the ability to coordinate with internal and external teams effectively.
