Amida Technology Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master. This role will report to the Program Manager. If you want to help public agencies, non-profits, and companies get their data right, we look forward to hearing from you.

What You Will Do

  • Using agile methodology values, principles, manage, and deliver solutions
  • Utilizing Kanban as a project management approach, when applicable, using visual boards, guiding work to completion, and documentation of work approaches completed
  • Train, mentor, and support scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices
  • Determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items
  • Schedule and facilitate scrum events, meetings and ceremonies, including for both agile and Kanban ceremonies as applicable
  • Monitor progress and performance and assist with making improvements
  • Plan and organize demos and product briefings
  • Ensure proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the scrum team
  • Track project processes, deliverables, requirements and issues in JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of Agile Scrum Master experience in an IT environment
  • Prior experience working within Commercial and/or State and Federal space

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks and requirements while ensuring technical accuracy and quality documentation of work tickets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work comfortably in a rapidly changing environment
  • A dependable team player who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel to include the ability to create templates, formulas and charts/graphs, and JIRA for requirement, defect & issue tracking

Preferred

  • Excellent analysis, facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and client relationship skills
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills to include the ability to interact effectively with clients, technical staff, and management across all levels
