See www.metassolutions.com for further details about us and careers with Metas.Job Description:Metas Solutions has an "immediate opening" for an experienced Senior PowerBuilder Developer to work remotely, in Atlanta, GA. In this position the Software Developer will provide code reusage, solutions architecture best practices and implementation criteria (BPICs), open systems, infrastructure, agile application development, application design/development support. You will also support DevSecOps and enterprise platform development, provide application production support, and support application evergreening or decommissioning.Responsibilities:
Coordinate, contribute to, and maintain required application documentation.
Develop automated unit and integration tests that meet code coverage goals per system.
Develop applications that adhere to Enterprise 508/WCAG guidelines for compliance.
Develop applications that meet code quality standards defined.
Provide DevSecOps support for full lifecycle of the platforms, from development, testing, security, deployments, and infrastructure.
Ensure that development aligns with modernization roadmap goals for systems consolidation and modernization, as defined.
Support the execution of high-quality, function platform releases per year
Ensure that each release conforms to integrate latest federal requirements (508, security, etc.).
Support Client's goal of retiring or consolidating legacy systems.
Provide support for escalated helpdesk tickets for legacy applications.
Perform systems analysis and troubleshooting for application defects.
Perform application maintenance releases and application hardware migration/upgrades.
Perform regression testing of migrated products and browser upgrades for monthly server patching.
Provide monthly ticket metrics report detailing all ticket activity, timelines, and resolution actions for the previous month.
Aggregate data that allows analysis of and communication of processes for transformation, migration, and integration efforts to manage associated risks
Support decommissioning efforts as required.
Support system application documentation initiatives and products including the establishment of business rules, creation of user stories with acceptance criteria, user interface wireframe/mock-up, activity diagrams and analysis assets, process flow diagrams, non-functional requirements, technical design documents, and user guides and development of Configuration Management Plan, Operations and Maintenance Plan, Disposition Plan, and Records Management Plan (with processes and mechanisms).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of application development experience including experience with PowerBuilder, C3.Net, VBScript.
5+ years of database experience including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
2+ years of DevSecOps experience.
Experience with procurement management software development.
Experience with Windows operating systems and Windows Server.
Experience leading a development team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
Active Public Trust Clearance
Experience with Visual Basic (VB), VBSript, Active Server Pages application development.
