Visit.org is looking for a passionate and ambitious Director of Finance to join our remote team. The Director of Finance will drive financial and strategic leadership and work closely with the executive leadership and founding team to drive opportunities for growth and investor relations. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, extreme passion for our mission, and the energy and discipline to come in and be a builder in a start-up tech environment.

Responsibilities
Work closely with our executive team to align the strategic goals and provide formal team leadership for the finance and accounting functions, and serve as a key advisor to the COO and CEO as the lead financial authority.
Build and maintain robust financial models, monthly budget reports and analyses to support growth, profitability, and strategic decision-making.
Drive revenue forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market conditions
Evaluate financial performance of the organization reporting on goals, budgets, and forecasts to stakeholders
Develop profitability frameworks, including margin analysis and cost control strategies, to improve overall financial performance.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational and strategic initiatives, including new business opportunities and market expansion.
Interpret and communicate financial results to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, investors, auditors, and departmental employees, to support storytelling and informed decision-making.
Drive and support ongoing investor relations and play a key role in securing future fundraising rounds
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of growth-minded Finance and Accounting professionals, whilst assessing professional training needs, assisting with workforce development, and building departmental process improvements and efficiencies
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align financial strategies with operational goals, providing financial expertise in decision-making processes.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including overseeing contract management and financial risk mitigation strategies.
Continuously identify and implement quality improvement methodologies to enhance financial and accounting processes, leveraging technology and data-driven strategies for accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on Accounting and Finance experience.
5 years of people management experience
Experience leading and growing a Finance department of a fast-growing SaaS startup, including a focus on investor relations and fundraising for Series B rounds and beyond.
Experience driving FP&A and strategizing financial growth within a scaling company.
Advanced knowledge of B2B SaaS financial models
Proven expertise in Excel and other relevant programs
Excellent analytical skills for budgeting and forecasting with strong attention to detail
Ability to present complex financial information in a digestible format to pertaining audiences
Demonstrated experience in balance sheet and cash flow management
Decision-making and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to delegate, motivate, and inspire team members to achieve key organizational priorities
Experience establishing and implementing process improvement initiatives within a high-growth environment
A foundational knowledge of capital market finances or consulting is considered a plus

Salary ranges $150,000 to $170,000 DOE however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A range of benefits may include equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off may be provided as part of the compensation package.
