About the Role
As the Tax Manager, you will be a strategic partner to the finance and executive leadership team, serving as the organization's key representative on all tax matters. Operating on a global scale, this role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate filing of regulatory forms and payments across multiple jurisdictions. You will navigate complex international tax frameworks, ensuring full compliance with varying regulations, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future initiatives, contributing to forward-looking tax strategies that align with our aggressive growth goals. You will provide insightful analysis on regulatory risk and offer recommendations that drive optimal tax compliance across borders. Analysis of corporate structure, implementing strategies for maximum tax efficiency throughout our international group structure, limiting tax loss and ensuring structure holds up to regulatory tax scrutiny and audit. Review prior year’s tax filings to understand the environment the company is in and include recommendations for past filings or future process improvement. Ensure all corporate intercompany transactions are correctly mapped and followed with intercompany agreements that are put in place and accounting and operations are put into practice to follow agreements. Complete analysis on business transfer pricing and implement tax strategies that fit business objectives and provide maximum security with regulatory bodies. Maintain full compliance with regulatory bodies and ensure all tax planning, returns are all completed within a timely manner and all tax accruals are accurate. Manage year-end tax cycles and work closely with tax authorities and consultants to ensure accurate, complete, and timely tax filings. Research and interpret new regulatory and tax reporting requirements and support the implementation of changes into existing procedures, controls, and workflows. Evaluate and think through complex layers of tax law. Minimize exposure and risk by implementing and monitoring team service/performance standards, reviewing and analyzing problems, and developing and implementing solutions. Own the tax function of the business - take responsibility for tax needs and organize external counsel if required. Provide analysis on all new business initiatives from a tax perspective that outlines risks and potential solutions.
Pay range and compensation package
An aggressive base salary will be provided in this position, with an additional lucrative bonus plan based on performance. Full medical benefits are provided as part of this role. Options/equity will be provided to suitable candidates after completion of the first 90 days. This role also provides the opportunity for advancement in role, function and pay.
