Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Noesis is looking for candidates with the following profile:

Test Strategy & Planning – Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring coverage for retail workflows, customer journeys, and backend operations.
Test Case Execution & Defect Management – Design, execute, and track test cases, logging defects in JIRA and working closely with developers for resolution.
Retail System Validation – Test key functionalities, including POS transactions, payment processing, inventory updates, pricing, promotions, loyalty programs, and self-checkout.
Integration & Regression Testing – Ensure seamless integration between retail applications, ERP systems, third-party payment gateways, and supply chain systems.
Azure DevOps Integration – Manage test cases, execution, and reporting using Azure DevOps.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication – Work closely with business analysts, developers, and retail operations teams to align testing efforts with business goals.
Mentorship & Best Practices – Provide guidance and training to junior testers, improving test methodologies and introducing automation strategies where applicable.
Reporting & Documentation – Generate detailed test reports, defect trends, risk assessments, and process improvement recommendations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in testing of retail systems (POS, e-commerce, inventory management, supply chain, or CRM platforms).
Expertise in functional, regression, exploratory, UAT, and integration testing for retail applications.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and best testing practices.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps and JIRA for test and defect management.
Experience testing payment gateways, multi-channel retail platforms, promotions, and order management systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
Exposure to test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is advantageous.
