Job description

Quility is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior System Administrator to join the IT team full-time. This role is ideal for candidates with 2-4 years of experience in system administration, IT support, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and basic networking principles, along with experience providing technical support and system maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to grow within our IT team while supporting essential business operations.


Essential Functions:

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in managing user accounts, access controls, and system configurations to ensure a secure and efficient IT environment.
  • Monitor system performance, perform routine maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting server, network, and application issues.
  • Implement and follow IT security best practices, including patch management, endpoint protection, and data backups.
  • Support IT infrastructure, including Microsoft 365 administration, Atlassian, cloud-based services.
  • Document IT processes, update internal knowledge bases, and provide training to end-users as needed.
  • Work closely with senior IT staff to assist in system upgrades, deployments, and IT projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in system administration and IT security.


Education & Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or M365 Associate are a plus.


Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Windows Entra, Intunes, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration, Atlassian product suite.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud-based management tools.
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems (Jira, Zendesk, Intercom, etc.) is a plus.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity principles and IT compliance best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for end-user support and team collaboration.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies.
