Job Title - Director of Solutions
As a member of the GreyOrange’s Solutions Group, you will own defining GreyOrange’s solution design and execution strategies for controlling software and robotic operations in warehouses. The successful candidate will be able to deep-dive into technology and business aspects. S/he will ideally have both a strong background in the Supply Chain and Warehousing domain and Robotics/Automation, combined with strong business acumen, allowing the candidate to provide deep analysis on new technologies and architectures while simultaneously judging the market potential of those emerging products and solutions. The ability to work cross functionally with other functions in the organization like product management, robotics engineering, manufacturing, and operations is critical. Candidates should have a proven track record defining complex and cross-functional products and solution strategies.
Key Responsibilities
●Responsible as head of Solutions - for strategizing for and scaling the Solutions Group to support and sustain hyper growth for the company’s business across multiple geographies and industries
●Establishing Solutions Group as a Center of Excellence by developing operational best practices, domain expertise, and producing the best-in-class quality solutions
●Manage a team of Solution Architects and Solution Consultants - distributed across geographies - and collectively translate market/customer requirements to define "WHAT" needs to be done and "WHY" to provide the right solutions for customers’ business needs
●Provide market/customer context to the Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams
●Directly work with customers to understand their business requirements and devise solutions collaborating with Pre-Sales teams, Customer partners, and other ecosystem players
●Develop customer evaluation programs to measure and improve customer satisfaction on GreyOrange products, prepare customer messaging for product issues and mitigation plans working closely with regional delivery and support teams
●Conduct market and customer research to shape future direction, develop product and solution concepts, and present recommendations to senior leadership.
●Setup and drive Customer Advisory Boards - providing customers early access and collaboration on the Product Roadmap, while working closely with strategic customers to create solutions for the key industry challenges
●Be the in-market presence Solutions leader to drive the company’s vision and thought leadership to the customers and market
●Deliver results through matrixed organization across product, engineering, marketing, operations, sales, and finance teams
●Own and drive key business metrics - for customer satisfaction, operational efficiency improvements, and business expansion with existing customers
●Extensive experience in high tech products – preferably in hardware and software products
Qualifications:
●Experience of managing a team of solution managers or consultants for 8-10 years
●Experience creating solutions to map technology solutions to a customer’s business while optimizing resources and processes
●Experience in Product lifecycle management
●Supply chain / warehouse software /technology domain understanding and experience
●Delivered complex B2B SaaS based enterprise products
●International exposure and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams
●Strong business/financial acumen and quantitative skills with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
●Excellent stakeholder manager with strong negotiation and articulation skills
●Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a top tier institute with 10+ years relevant experience.
●A Master's Degree / MBA would be an added advantage
