Operations & Service Manager_Italy (Based in Spain) – Insurance industry

Job Role: Italy BU Ops Manager/SM.

Region of focus: Italy.

Description: Someone with communication skills and be able to understand business needs and prioritize any topic with the team. This role does not require strong technical knowledge but more management skills, however, knowledge on Database or Informatica Powercenter is appreciated.

We will need this person to be able to take oncall support since we have oncall support for Italy from 18h to 22h on weekdays and Saturdays from 9am to 12pm (there’s a monthly release on their side one Saturday a month and that day oncall is until 18h). There will be someone from Zurich side who will also helping with the on coalls, so the new person is not always doing oncalls.

60% of his/her time will be assigned to Zurich BU Italy and another 40% will be as Service Manager for applications.

Based in Spain, ideally Barcelona.

Languages & Levels: English (C2).

Minimum Experience: At least 7 to 10 years.

Location: Full remote.

Mobility outside country: NO Possible start date of the consultant: 03/02/2025.
