Description

SAIC has an opening for a Senior System Administrator. This position may be remote anywhere in the US for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Performs day-to-day operational maintenance, support, and upgrades for exchange operating systems and servers.
  • Supports requests for special mailbox types and troubleshooting.
  • Supports the patching cycles and updates.
  • Works under general direction on routine work.
  • May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
  • Follows established procedures.
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Monitors and perform service ticket troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Participating in on call support is required.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, or a master's degree and 3+ years of experience. An additional 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Minimum 1 year of Microsoft Email exchange 2016-2019 administration and knowledge

Desired

  • Previous Service Now service desk experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft M365.
