2D Spine Character Animator

Our animation division specializes in creating in-game animations. We are currently seeking a talented 2D Spine character animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating captivating character animations for games. The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of concept art, VFX, and Dev professionals, contributing their expertise and creativity to produce visually stunning and engaging experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled animator to showcase their talents and grow their career in a dynamic and exciting industry.

What you will do: 

• Prepare Spine skeletons (Rigging) for animation.
• Animate characters according to character sheets and PNG facial expressions in Spine.
• Work closely with a Concept artist and Animation Director to achieve the projects’ goals.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in 2D character animation for games.
• Full control of Spine.
• Punctuality, attention to detail, and a great understanding of body mechanics, physics, weight, and acting.
• Working closely with references to achieve a high level of production.
• Working efficiently and according to a structured pipeline.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Highly organized.
• High-level English and ability to express yourself.
• Self-driven, independent, problem solver. Knows how to provide creative solutions within a given budget. 

Desirable Pluses:

• Illustration skills.
• Storyboarding / Animatic skills.
