Job description

For the past two decades, A2MAC1 has built a robust reputation as the world’s most trusted provider of benchmarking information. To support our future growth and strengthen the existing customer relationship, we are searching for a Sr. Business Development Manager. The Sr. BDM will provide sales growth for A2MAC1 North America by managing day-today development activities and delivering on strategic business targets for the region. The Sr. BDM will also proactively seek to expand business and reach within the customer segment as assigned by the executive team.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast paced environment
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy
  • Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
  • Represent A2Mac1 at major conferences, and key sales meetings, speak knowledgeably about A2Mac1 products and solutions and how we are differentiated
  • Contact potential clients and explore new business opportunities to create long-term successful partnerships in NAM
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients
  • Frequent communication of business status to the team including sales updates, decision support analytics and new business leads
  • Explore Cross-selling opportunities with the team
  • Strong understanding of our go to market strategy & sales philosophy

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely to customer base and global leadership
  • Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements
  • Experience with reading and comprehending legal documents
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator a plus
  • Ability to create sales drip campaigns in the lead generation space
  • Initiating contact with potential and current customers to generate and qualify leads, promote the company's products and services, and identify sales opportunities.

PROFILE REQUIRED

Professional Background

  • Bachelor's degree, Engineering preferred
  • Proven success in driving business growth for a comprehensive portfolio of DaaS and SaaS solutions, with a strong track record of revenue generation and market expansion.
  • 15+ years of sales experience in the Automotive industry, specifically in roles that involve selling complex solutions and services.
  • A strategic and structured approach to building value, fostering engagement, and demonstrating abilities to effectively position all A2MAC1 services in North America.
  • Deep expertise in vehicle costing in Manufacturing, including a thorough understanding of cost models and methodologies used across all aspects of the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record closing sales from $50K - $3M+ ARR
  • Team player, critical thinking, and awesome communication skills (fluent English)
  • People oriented! It is imperative to control emotions and solve daily problems productively
  • Attention to detail and unlimited curiosity
  • Must have the ability to travel up throughout North America as business needs dictate
