The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Direct IO to lead media planning & activation across digital direct IO buying and traditional publisher media, working closely with Programmatic counterparts on the integrated display and video media strategy. This person will be a key point of contact for relevant media (Linear, OOH, Audio, Digital Direct, and more) and responsible for overseeing planning, activation and measurement, bringing a strong, executional focus and driving results.
To be successful in this role, this person needs to have strong knowledge of digital direct IO buying and traditional media planning, buying, and reporting across relevant programs, with the ability and drive to execute the strategy through creative and practical thinking. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $76,000 - $90,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.
This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.
*This position is remote friendly, however, preference will be given to candidates based in the Pacific Time Zone

You Will BeExecuting the planning of always-on, seasonal, and ad hoc campaigns across direct partner media, including digital direct IO buysDeveloping a solid understanding of the client’s business, marketing objectives, and KPIsWorking closely with the integrated media strategy leads on the account to ensure the Direct media program ladders up to the overarching strategyManaging the RFP process for traditional media and IO negotiations for digital direct, from identifying partners to finalizing recommendationsImproving operational efficiencies within the team across planning, activation, reporting, and ad ops, with a focus on streamlining digital direct IO processesNegotiating program inclusions, rates, and terms with partners across both traditional and digital direct, while developing internal best practices to upskill the team in this areaIdentifying opportunities to expand partnerships, providing added value and cost efficiencies to our programs, including exploring new digital direct opportunitiesBringing new opportunities to clients across publisher, data, and measurement partnerships to drive innovation, especially within the digital direct landscapeImplementing advanced measurement techniques across partners, including those specific to digital direct campaignsPartnering with Programmatic leads for holistic Display/Video strategyYou Must Have3+ years of directly related experience. Full-funnel marketing experience preferredSolid knowledge of the digital media landscape across display, video, social and content, including experience with digital direct IO buying.
