The opportunity:
The Associate Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, optimizing revenue cycle processes, and implementing best practices across our dental practices. This candidate will be an excellent people leader, capable of mentoring and motivating a team to achieve top performance, build morale, and develop professional growth opportunities. They must bring a minimum of 10 years of RCM experience in healthcare or dental settings, with expertise in Dentrix and other dental practice management solutions.
How you will contribute:
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Development: Manage and lead the RCM team, setting clear goals, providing mentorship, and fostering a positive team environment that promotes growth, collaboration, and high morale
Process Optimization: Lead initiatives to streamline billing, collections, and A/R processes, leveraging expertise in Dentrix and other dental practice management systems to enhance efficiency and revenue generation
KPI Monitoring and Improvement: Establish, monitor, and report daily on key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue cycle activities, driving accountability and identifying areas for continuous improvement
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements, as well as company policies. Proactively identify and address any compliance issues, notifying Director of RCM and implementing corrective actions as needed/discussed
Technology Utilization: Act as a subject matter expert in Dentrix and other PMS platforms, using these tools to facilitate accurate billing, coding, and claims processing
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with finance, clinical, and operational teams to support organizational goals and improve patient financial services
What you will bring with you:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, with at least 5 years specifically in a dental setting
Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
Extensive experience with Dentrix and other dental practice management solutions
Proven track record in managing billing, collections, and accounts receivable operations within a multi-location dental environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Prior experience in a rapidly growing dental organization, such as a Dental Service Organization (DSO)
Experience with implementation and optimization of PMS and EHR systems, especially during periods of rapid growth or acquisitions

Salary Range: $106,400 - $159,600
