We’re on the lookout for an Art Lead - Gaming to join our talented team and elevate our gaming projects to the next level. If you have a passion for creating immersive and captivating visual experiences in games, we want to hear from you!

As the Art Lead, you will guide the artistic vision for multiple projects, ensuring that every visual aspect aligns with the game’s narrative and enhances the overall user experience. Your leadership will inspire a team of artists and help cultivate a collaborative environment where creativity flourishes.

A successful candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in game art and design, alongside the ability to communicate your vision and bring the team together to achieve it.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the artistic vision and maintain a consistent stylized art style that aligns with the IP holder’s expectations and game direction.
    • Oversee the full art production pipeline, ensuring high-quality and optimized assets for mobile platforms.
    • Manage and mentor a large internal art team (3D artists, character artists, environment artists, VFX, UI/UX, animation) while also coordinating with external art vendors.
    • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including game directors, designers, and IP holders, to align visuals with gameplay and brand expectations.
    • Define art processes and workflows to ensure efficient asset production, integration, and optimization for high-performance mobile gaming.
    • Drive outsourcing strategies, reviewing external work to ensure it meets quality standards and seamlessly integrates into the game.
    • Ensure strong cross-discipline collaboration, working with Tech Art, Engineering, and Design to maintain performance and artistic fidelity.
    • Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and best practices for mobile-first action shooters.

Requirements

      • 10+ years of experience in game art production, with at least 5 years as an Art Lead.
      • Proven track record working on mobile games (AA+/AAA) with big IPs and large client projects.
      • Previous experience as an Art Lead on at least one released action or shooter game for mobile or PC.
      • Strong experience in stylized art direction and ensuring consistency across environments, characters, UI, and VFX.
      • Deep understanding of mobile game art productionperformance constraints, and optimization.
      • Extensive outsourcing experience—able to direct and manage external partners to maintain quality.
      • Excellent leadership skills, with experience managing large art teams in a fast-paced production environment.
      • Expert knowledge of industry-standard tools: Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance, Photoshop, Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.
      • Strong ability to balance creative vision with technical feasibility and production constraints.
      • Experience working with IP holders and major stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and compliance.
      • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.

Nice to Have:

      • Experience with procedural workflows, tools development, and AI-assisted art pipelines.
