Job description

We’re looking for our first-ever Quality Assurance Analyst! Your role will be 50-50 between end-to-end testing and data accuracy review.

At Hunter, we work as a tight-knit team and rarely open new positions—this is a unique opportunity to join a thriving environment. You’ll join our Engineering department and work alongside our Application and Data teams, ensuring what they build meets our usability, reliability, and accuracy standards.

We’ve created a work environment centered on autonomy, personal growth, and efficiency. Our fully remote setup prioritizes asynchronous communication and minimizes meetings, allowing you to focus on what truly matters and move the Product forward.

This position is open to candidates located in Europe exclusively (+/- 2 CET).

About the role

Hunter’s mission is to simplify outreach, from lead sourcing to their first reply, while delivering our users a seamless, delightful experience. To make this happen, we provide our user base with a powerful Web Application, an API, and a couple of third-party extensions. Those tools give them access to our B2B database, built on crawling and extracting data points from dozens of millions of websites monthly.

This job is at the intersection of those two areas. Therefore, your role is to ensure both that:

  • the tools our users interact with are performant and provide a delightful experience, and
  • the data we serve to our users is accurate and reliable.

As part of a small, agile company, you’ll work on diverse projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and manage data benchmark processes with regular/quarterly comparisons of Hunter data vs. competitors.
  • Conduct exploratory testing (uncover defects that predefined test cases may not capture, before they reach our customers).
  • Perform usability and UX testing on upcoming and live features.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

You’ll work closely with our engineers, product managers, and customer success agents to identify and address issues efficiently.

We’re seeking someone with strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and a will to continuously learn. We operate as a lean company in a fast-moving environment, so adaptability and problem-solving skills are essential.

Finally, we’re looking for previous significant experience as a QA analyst (or a similar role). Since you’ll be working autonomously on the Quality Assurance, we expect you to take full ownership of all related processes.
