Job description

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to support our client. This is an Onsite or Remote role. If onsite, work will be performed in Brooklyn, NY or potentially at an alternate New York City location.

The Database Administrator (DBA) works with cross-functional teams to deliver products and features from start to finish. This role involves managing development, testing, automation, and version control tools, as well as supporting IT infrastructure throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements:

DevOps & CI/CD: Experienced in building and managing release processes, automating applications, and using CI/CD pipelines for both on-premise and cloud services.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Strong knowledge of computing architecture with experience in IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
Version Control & Deployment Tools: Proficient in tools like TFS, Octopus Deploy, and GitHub for version control and continuous integration/deployment.
Automation & Optimization: Skilled in automating database tasks, improving performance, and ensuring database reliability and scalability.

Experience: 5+ years

Certifications: Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, SQL Server 2016 or higher, Microsoft Azure Certification

Technologies: SQL, Azure, MongoDB
