"ECP – Senior Country Processor (4-8 Years) - Singapore As a senior payroll associate for Singapore country, you will be responsible for, executing and supporting end to end payroll processing and any other payroll processes. As well as the corresponding customer service. Your role will include close collaboration with the customer, payroll stakeholders and applicable third-party providers. People successful in this role demonstrate solid payroll knowledge, ability to perform the tasks in compliance with existing procedures, high customer focus, excellent communication skills and proactiveness and act as the subject matter expert (SME) for supported country and takes ownership of the procedures and processes. A Process Lead SME has an extensive knowledge of local labor law and HR processes supported by the team to periodically guarantee the company is compliant with the labor law requirements. I. Scope of responsibilities Payroll Operations ❖ Deliver the highest quality of service in payroll operations by executing all activities in compliance with existing procedures, legal regulations and customer requirements ❖ Process any payroll data in accordance with legal, and the customer requirements related to personal data protection ❖ Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of end-to-end payroll processing, carry out the validation of payroll transactions and collaborate with payroll stakeholders to resolve any issues ❖ Contributes to creating and updating Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) on regular intervals, training materials and policies and sharing the knowledge with associates to mitigate knowledge gap and inefficiencies in current process. ❖ Monitoring and evaluating the quality and providing feedback to associates on regular intervals. Participate in process improvements and projects to guide the project managers with detailed process steps which helps to deliver the project with desired results. ❖ Process payroll payments in the bank system including any controls and initiate the treasury release ❖ Collaborate with Country Lead to reply to any queries or requests from the local authorities ❖ Perform the tasks supporting the accounting function: generate the journals, reply to queries, provide copies of documents ❖ Communicate any risks to payroll processing or deadlines in accordance with escalation paths ❖ Report the status of payroll activities in a timely and accurate manner, support year end processes or any other country specific processes not related to monthly payroll runs ❖ Collaborate with the customer to provide information and documents needed for the internal and external audits ❖ Initiate and actively support any continuous improvement activities or other process and/or tools improvements using the existing change management channels Payroll Customer Service: ❖ Deliver the highest quality of service in help desk area by proper interaction and engagement, accuracy of provided information, timely resolution and overall management of queries from the customer’s employees, the customer or third parties ❖ Actively take part in any activities focused on continuous improvement of customer service ❖ Execute all activities in compliance with existing procedures ❖ Keep the help desk scenarios up to date General: ❖ Act as a backup for payroll country manager as required ❖ Keep the knowledge of processes and country specific information up to date by attending recurring courses or any other training activities as well as using existing documentation ❖ Act as back-up for team members and/or additional functions as assigned by supervisor ❖ Act as a trainer for assigned trainer-delivered, workshadow or recurring courses Statutory Compliance: ❖ Handle timely payment and submission of statutory requirements (CPF, IR21, IR8A). ❖ Administer tax-related submissions to IRAS and ensure compliance with regulations. ❖ Manage claims for childcare, maternity, paternity leaves, and NS Make-Up Claims. ❖ Maintain records of employee m"
