Internal Control Specialist

We are looking for an Internal Control Specialist to help strengthen the company’s internal control framework, ensuring compliance with international standards, policies, and regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in multinational companies, preferably in the technology sector, and is used to working in a dynamic, fast-growing environment. This role will be key in the development, implementation, and improvement of internal controls at a global level.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve internal control processes and policies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Identify gaps and develop mitigation strategies to strengthen the company's internal control environment.
• Monitor compliance with financial, operational, and regulatory controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, providing the necessary documentation and evidence to validate control effectiveness.
• Develop training and awareness programs on internal control and compliance for key employees within the organization.
• Prepare executive reports on findings, risks, and action plans, ensuring visibility and alignment with company leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
• At least 6 years of experience in internal control, auditing, or compliance within multinational companies. Experience in the technology or SaaS sector is highly valued.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) to interact with global teams.
• Knowledge of international internal control and auditing standards and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.
