Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Executive Interviewer to conduct in-depth telephone interviews with middle-level executives across various industries, primarily focusing on the trucking sector. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in uncovering market trends, sizing opportunities, and identifying major industry developments. You’ll leverage your business acumen and interpersonal skills to engage with industry leaders, extracting valuable insights that will directly contribute to our client’s market research reports and analysis. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the pulse of industry dynamics, constantly learning about emerging trends and challenges across different sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct professional telephone interviews with middle-level executives, primarily in the trucking industry and other related sectors
  • Utilize pre-designed questionnaires to gather comprehensive information on market sizes, industry trends, and significant developments
  • Develop and ask insightful follow-up questions to extract detailed and relevant information from interviewees
  • Persistently and tactfully reach out to key individuals within target organizations to secure interviews
  • Analyze and interpret responses to provide valuable market intelligence
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and build rapport with executive interviewees
  • Adapt interview techniques to accommodate different industries and executive personalities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of interview strategies and questionnaires
  • Summarize findings and prepare concise reports for internal analysis and client presentations
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends to enhance the quality and relevance of interviews
Requirements
  • Advanced degree, preferably in Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting business interviews or market research (10+ years preferred)
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills with native-level English fluency
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with executive-level professionals and extract valuable insights
  • Strong understanding of business concepts, market dynamics, and industry analysis
  • Proven track record of conducting effective interviews and gathering actionable intelligence
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to quickly process and synthesize information
  • High level of patience and persistence in reaching and interviewing target executives
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with the trucking industry is a significant plus
  • Proficiency in using various communication tools and software for remote interviews
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
