The Trading Associate serves as a liaison between Advisors participating in the Advisor as Portfolio Manager (APM) program and the Central Trading Desk. The Trading Associate will assist and train advisors with all of their trading, trade support, and order management system needs.

This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates in eastern or central time zone.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $57,000 - $75,000, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

Provide training and support to advisor teams on daily trade processes.

  • Train Advisor teams on proper trade execution.

  • Assist teams with daily trade processes.

  • Assist transition of Advisor teams from their existing OMS onto Orion/Eclipse. 

Utilize internal and external software platforms to provide routine and complex trade execution.

  • Provide execution and trade support to Advisor teams through strong knowledge of WEG’s product offering; assist them with executing complex trades.

  • Support Advisor teams using Orion/Eclipse and other custodial trading platforms.

  • Provide all encompassing systems support to Advisor teams.

Collaborate with peers to ensure mutual success.

Education/Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; finance, economics or related

  • 0-3 years’ financial services

  • TAMP experience preferred

  • Strong interest in trading, financial advisory, asset management or financial planning

  • Ability to learn Orion Eclipse as well as broker dealer and custodian trading platforms.

  • Strong teamwork and collaborative nature.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality

  • Experience with Workday preferred

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the Associate level is $56,350 to 88,300
