Job Summary:
As the Director of Paid Social, you will provide strategic direction, leadership, and oversight of all paid social media advertising initiatives. You will collaborate with innovative & transformative digital health and e-commerce clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute paid social strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, traffic, and conversions. Your role involves managing a team of paid social account managers, optimizing campaigns, and staying ahead of industry trends.

Strategic Leadership:
Develop and communicate the overall paid social media advertising strategy.
Collaborate with clients or senior management to align paid social efforts with broader marketing objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a paid social specialist team, including setting clear performance objectives and providing guidance.
Oversee campaign planning, execution, and optimization efforts.
Ensure team members are well-equipped to deliver exceptional results.
Client Collaboration:
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives.
Present strategic recommendations, campaign performance insights, and progress reports to clients.
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
Develop comprehensive paid social strategies, including budget allocation and audience targeting.
Ensure the creation of effective ad creatives that align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
Oversee the implementation of advanced audience segmentation and targeting strategies.
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
Monitor campaign performance using social media analytics tools and other data sources.
Analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Implement A/B testing and other advanced optimization techniques.
Department Planning & Innovation
Assist in team planning around account placement and hiring roadmap
Identify improvements to processes, deliverables, and tools that we utilize to enhance our efficiency and quality of work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field
Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in paid social media advertising and digital marketing.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale paid social campaigns.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of social media advertising platforms and emerging trends.
Experience working with a diverse range of clients and industries.
Additional Information:
This role may involve occasional travel to meet with clients or attend industry events.
Adaptability to changing client needs, evolving social media advertising platforms, and industry dynamics is crucial.
