A reputable company in Los Angeles, CA is seeking to highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales and expand a presence in the luxury printing and packaging industry. This role focuses on identifying and securing high-end clients, educating them on creative print and packaging solutions, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter with experience selling to luxury brands, strong communication skills, and a creative mindset to guide clients through custom product development.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 / year DOE
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with luxury brands in industries such as fashion, automotive, finance, and hospitality
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth
Educate clients on creative packaging and printing possibilities, collaborating closely to develop high-end, custom solutions
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for clients
Travel frequently to client sites and occasionally to the New York office Work closely with internal teams in the U.S. and Europe to ensure project execution meets client expectations
Business Development Manager Requirements
Proven experience in the printing and packaging industry with a strong track record of new client acquisition
Experience selling to high-end/luxury clients in industries like fashion, beauty, automotive, or finance
A strategic hunter mindset, with the ability to identify and pursue the right client opportunities
Excellent communication skills, polished presentation, and strong follow-up ability
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to guide clients in developing innovative print and packaging solutions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom; experience with internal CRM tools is a plus
