Product Owner- Product Development - PVF and Rough Plumbing Products

The Product Owner is a member of the Product Development team and is responsible for evaluating, developing and launching Own Brand products, literature and specifications, financial analysis and coordinating supplier, marketing, quality and procurement topics. You will support all activities and strategies related to the development of PVF and Rough products for the Residential Trade business.

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid in Newport News, VA, in accordance with company policy.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by management.
  • Drive Own Brand Product Development for PVF and Rough Components
  • Plan and implement new product introductions and coordinate new product roll-out to organization.
  • Gather product and market knowledge to assist program performance analysis and review.
  • Perform financial analysis and strategic planning.
  • Write business cases for potential product line additions.
  • Maintain an ongoing awareness of branch and end user customer needs to find opportunities that would result in profitable Own Brand (OB) growth for the company
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of sales materials for assigned Own Brand products – brochures, catalogs, website, and specification sheets.
  • Participate in ensuring field sales organization is proficient in the use and sales aspects of the products
  • Maintain current understanding of competitive products in order to stay abreast of new product trends.

Preferred Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technical Field, or similar
  • General knowledge of project management
  • Experience with Supplier Management
  • Proficiency in foreign language and/or experience with international suppliers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competency in Excel and Power Point applications
  • Field experience with Plumbing or Industrial materials a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere.

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,175.00 - $9,716.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
