As a brand public relations specialist within the Communications team, you’ll develop communication strategies and work with various collaborators to implement plans that promote our brand through earned media. In this role, you’ll work collaboratively across the business and our Marketing organization on brand campaigns to help drive brand love amongst consumers. Coordinating press announcements for company news to reach various stakeholders, working closely with other departments that may include advertising, legal, internal communications, and government affairs. Additionally, you’ll develop and place messaging amongst consumers to drive differentiation and positive sentiment for our brand and business by moving projects forward internally, and leading agency resources to accomplish this work.

Must-have Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of seven years professional experience in Communications (i.e. Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising)
  • {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications or related field (i.e. Public Relations/Communications, Journalism or Marketing) and a minimum of four years professional experience in Communications

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working on integrated brand campaigns with knowledge of leading internal and agency resources to develop creative extensions to campaign briefs
  • Ability to work collaboratively, applying creative feedback and working against deadlines to deliver quality communications strategies
  • Strong presentation skills to influence and gain buy-in of ideas amongst peers, business partners, and senior leaders
  • Strong writing skills for developing press announcements and messaging points
  • Agency, brand marketing, and public relations experience

Compensation

  • $72,100- $127,700/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
