Job description

As the analyst relations (AR) manager, you will play a critical role in driving Thoughtworks’ visibility and credibility with industry analysts across the globe. Working closely with the Global Head of AR, marketing, communications, and leadership teams, you will develop and execute strategies to ensure Thoughtworks is positioned as a leader in our key markets and focus areas. You will also be responsible for project managing our industry evaluations, such as the Gartner Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave, and partner with our extended marketing and field teams to share insights from the analyst community. This role is pivotal in shaping analyst perceptions, managing relationships, and amplifying the company’s achievements, capabilities, and vision.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled communicator, and relationship builder with a passion for connecting organizations with influential industry voices. You have a proven track record of managing analyst relations programs in the technology or consulting sector and the confidence to represent Thoughtworks to high-level external stakeholders.

You are deeply passionate about analyst relations (AR), with a comprehensive understanding of the AR landscape, including its unique nuances, key dynamics, and emerging trends and AR firms.

Experience:

Minimum of five years in analyst relations in professional services within the software technology or consulting sectors.

Job responsibilities
  • Relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key analysts at leading firms such as Gartner and Forrester and others, positioning Thoughtworks as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
  • Program execution: This is a global role but the individual will be expected to develop and implement a regional AR strategy for India and APAC that aligns with Thoughtworks’ global AR program and corporate objectives.
  • Briefings and inquiries: Support the global AR lead with coordinating analyst briefings, inquiries, and meetings ensuring stakeholders are prepared and outcomes align with business goals.
  • Content development: Collaborate with Global Tech and Service Lines teams plus brand and communications to craft compelling materials, including analyst presentations, and responses to RFIs and MQ submissions.
  • Monitoring and reporting: Track and analyze analyst opinions, industry trends, and competitive insights to provide actionable recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Advocacy: Act as an advocate for Thoughtworks internally and externally, ensuring analysts accurately understand and communicate the company’s value proposition and market differentiation.
  • Event support: Manage Thoughtworks’ participation in analyst events, webinars, and roundtables, ensuring maximum impact and engagement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, technology, portfolio, and delivery teams to gather insights and data that enrich analyst interactions.

Technical Skills
  • Market insights: Strong understanding of industry trends in technology, digital transformation, and consulting services.
  • Project management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Digital savvy: Proficient in using AR management tools and platforms like Spotlight OZ, with expertise in the Google Suite, AI tools such as Jasper and Gemini, as well as collaboration and data analytics tools.
Professional Skills
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to align AR efforts with broader corporate strategies and business priorities.
  • Communication excellence: Superior writing, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical content into compelling narratives.
  • Stakeholder management: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with senior leadership.
