What we are looking for…

AvantStay, a fast-growing, venture-funded company in the booming short-term rental industry, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator. We want someone with strong experience customizing and automating Salesforce solutions, along with a history of system maintenance, reporting, and providing excellent customer support to internal teams. In this role you will be the primary person responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our Salesforce environment.

What you’ll do…

  • System Administration & Configuration
    • Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings.
    • Maintain system health by troubleshooting issues, monitoring system performance, and managing data integrity.
    • Customize Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, page layouts, record types, and validation rules to align with business requirements.
  • Process Automation & Optimization
    • Collaborate on key projects to determine business alignment, needs, and system requirements, focusing on Sales Cloud.
    • Develop and maintain automation processes using Flow, Process Builder, and other Salesforce automation tools.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve workflows, approval processes, and data management strategies.
  • Reporting & Data Management
    • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making across departments.
    • Ensure data quality and consistency through best practices in data cleansing, deduplication, and governance.
  • User Support
    • Provide end-user training to maximize adoption and efficient use of Salesforce.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting user issues and implementing best practices.
  • Integration & System Enhancements
    • Collaborate with Engineering and IT to integrate Salesforce data and workflows into our proprietary software systems
    • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and new features, recommending and implementing enhancements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Salesforce administrator experience with Sales Cloud
  • Familiarity with SOQL, Apex, and Lightning components
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.) are a major plus
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Benefits

    • $20k-$45k depending on location and experience
    • Flexible workplace - work from anywhere outside the US
    • We are a hospitality company so we support our staff and guests 7 days a week. This role will require approximately 40 hours of  work per  week on a 5-days on, 2-days off schedule. Primary hours are Monday through Friday during US business hours, with possibility of weekend shifts depending on availability and business needs.
