Instructional Designer

Join our team as a Freelance Instructional Designer with a specific focus on SharePoint to help our client develop and enhance their informational hubs. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your instructional design skills, combined with your deep SharePoint expertise, to create compelling and engaging learning resources.

Job Overview

• Location: United States (Remote)
• Type: Freelance / Contract
• Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
• Duration: Expected to last about 3 months
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hourly Rate: Up to $75/hr (1099/C2C) based on experience

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Page Creation

• Design and build user-friendly SharePoint pages that serve as centralized information hubs.
• Ensure the visual layout and structure of SharePoint sites align with the company’s brand standards.
• Focus on navigation, accessibility, and information architecture to enhance user experience.

Graphic Design & Branding

• Utilize graphic design skills to create visually appealing elements within SharePoint.
• Maintain consistent branding across all learning materials and SharePoint assets.
• Develop icons, banners, and other graphic elements to aid in instructional design.

Learning Asset Design and Curation

• Design instructional materials specifically optimized for SharePoint integration.
• Create ancillary resources and curate these within SharePoint to support our learning objectives.
• Ensure that all learning assets meet high-quality design and educational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with SharePoint, particularly in creating information hubs.
• Demonstrated skill in graphic design and a strong understanding of branding.
• Experience in instructional design, especially in digital learning environments.
• Strong communication skills, particularly for collaboration in remote settings.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Additional Information

• Applicants should be located within the United States and have experience as a freelance contractor.
• The hourly rate for this role, is up to $75 USD per hour, and we are open to direct 1099, or C2C if you have your own S-Corp / LLC.
