Enveda is looking for a Biomarker Operations Manager to join our team!

The contribution you will make:

As the Biomarker Operations Manager, you will help support biomarker strategy and operations across our translational medicine programs. You will manage the operational aspects of biomarker discovery, validation, and implementation, ensuring high-quality execution of biomarker studies that support our drug development programs. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic team at the forefront of translational science.

This role will work within the Translational Medicine team and report to our VP and Head of Translational Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Biomarker Study Operations   
  • Lead the planning, execution, and management of biomarker studies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate sample collection, processing, and analysis across clinical and preclinical programs.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of biomarker data.
  • Vendor and CRO Management
  • Identify, select, and manage relationships with contract research organizations (CROs) and external vendors.
  • Oversee biomarker assay development, validation, and data generation at external laboratories.
  • Data Management and Reporting
  • Collaborate with bioinformatics, data science, and translational teams to manage biomarker data flow and analysis.
  • Generate and review biomarker reports to support program decision-making.
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions and study protocols by providing biomarker operational input.
  • Project Coordination and Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with clinical development, preclinical research, and other teams to align biomarker operations with program goals.
  • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution of biomarker activities.
  • Operational Excellence
  • Drive process improvements to optimize biomarker operational workflows.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in biomarkers to inform best practices.

  • Who will thrive in this role?
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field required. Advanced degree (Master’s, or equivalent) in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in biomarker operations, clinical development, or related roles in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. Hands-on experience managing biomarker assays, sample logistics, and vendor oversight. Familiarity with translational medicine and drug development processes.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in biomarker assay technologies (e.g., genomics, proteomics, metabolomics) and data management.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and collaborative environments.
