Financial Accountant

• VAT & Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of VAT and tax returns in compliance with regulations.
  

• Budget Preparation: Lead the development and management of financial budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  

• Financial Forecasting: Prepare forecasts and analyze revenue trends to guide strategic decision-making.
  

• Transaction Recording: Accurately record financial transactions and oversee the general ledger.
  

• Balance Sheet Management: Maintain and manage balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  

• Month-End Closures: Manage and perform month-end financial closures, including reconciliation and reporting.
  

• Audit Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth audit processes.
  

• Risk Assessment & Internal Controls: Assess financial risks, implement and maintain strong internal controls.
  

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies during monthly, quarterly, and annual closures.
  

Requirements

• A qualified accountant with a few years of accounting experience or an accountant with more experience who is still studying and about to be qualified.
• Strong experience in VAT, tax, financial forecasting, and month-end processes.
  
• Proven track record in managing balance sheets and financial transactions.
  
• Ability to analyze financial trends and provide insights for business growth.
  
• Experience liaising with external auditors.
  
• Strong understanding of risk management and maintaining internal controls
  

• Strong personality: Confident and assertive, capable of leading financial operations and teams.
  
• Growth mindset: Driven to take on increasing responsibilities with the potential to step into a Finance Manager role.
