Job Title: Ice Cream US Alberton's East CBM

Background & Purpose of the Job:

Customer Business Development (CBD) is what we call our sales organization at Unilever. CBD works closely with customers and internal cross functional teams to create and implement joint business plans that deliver value for the customer and company.  CBD leaders are expected to pioneer new products, build categories, and deploy best-in-class store and digital capabilities.

This role as the Customer Business Manager (CBM) for Albertsons East is fully dedicated to aggressively growing our Ice Cream business at both NE & Mid Atlantic divisions of Albertsons.  This role will be expected to own the customer relationship with these divisions through focused delivery of strategic growth opportunities aligned with Albertsons corporate as well as accelerated partnership and joint business planning focus. You will be required to work closely with other leads that work on other Albertsons divisions in effort to deliver JBP targets and corporate initiatives.

What You will Do:

As the Customer Business Manager for Albertsons East, you will establish and develop sustained business relationships and drive profitable sales volume growth for the Ice Cream Category. The CBM is expected to deliver sales, profit, and share goals while improving return on holistic customer investment, in line with joint business plan targets and customer and brand strategies.  The CBM is also responsible for improving in-store and online presence by leading brilliant execution across the extended team of Shopper Marketing, dCommerce, Category Management, Category Insights, Business Development and Supply Chain.

• You have strong Business Acumen: you have demonstrated ownership in company and customer P&L management as well as understand how to run a business.  You possess strong acumen and demonstrate skillets in net revenue management.
• You’re a born leader: Lead the multifunctional effort with customer counterparts; develop and execute joint business plans; manage NSV and trade investment; manage and lead retail initiatives.
• You love to win and have fun doing it: Drive strategic relationships and accelerated growth, while operating within approved Trade Marketing parameters and driving trade investment efficiency.
• You’re a dot connector: Routinely interface with multiple internal and external stakeholders; Balance individual customer needs while ensuring total Market integrity.
• You are a self-starter: You love working with ambiguity, developing new solutions and influencing change with a strong bias for action.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Undergraduate degree is required
• 8+ years’ combined business development manager and customer business manager required
• Club channel Account Management with CPG is preferred
• Experience in P&L, financial management and trade marketing is a must
• Working knowledge of Nielsen/IRI, Trade Promotion Management and Customer POS Data is strongly desired
• Must be able to effectively relate with multiple levels of management, both internally and externally
• Must be a strategic thinker that can work effectively, and in a highly collaborative manner
