Business Analytics Lead Analyst – Pricing Enablement - Transformers Team

Key Areas of Responsibility
- The primary responsibility is to
- Understand the impact to Pricing Enablement teams and the Health Rating Engine (HRE).
- Work closely with underwriting and pricing to evaluate the overall impact of the new project.
- Collaborate with team Pricing Design during the initial logic and algorithm design phase and assess the feasibility of the design in the specification
- Coordinate with both upstream pricing teams and downstream rating tools team and ensure the cross-team dependency is addressed
- Work with internal QA and QE team to ensure the quality of the project delivery
- Understand the coding requirement for each specification
- Conduct peer review for all Transformers modelers’ work (as part of the acceptance criteria of every coding user story)
- Support team members on coding recommendation and answer questions related to Product Machine
- Work with QA team to define the testing criteria for each user story
- Partner with the Pricing Methodology teams to interpret methodology requirements and translate requirements into modeling design for business-as-usual items. Provide feedback so methodology design can be optimally handled by rating engines. Code the new requirement into Health Rating Engine using Object Constraint Language
- Support any other new initiatives and new processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, IT, Computer Science or closely related field.
- Experience with FJA Product Machine and/or Commercial pricing models are strongly preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of modeling experience preferred
- Self-motivated and professional
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive in driving changes - ability to identify, assess, improve and solve complex challenges.
- Experience with Object Constraint Language preferred
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to be proactive and effect change, influence, persuade, and collaborate with audiences at various levels of experience and responsibility
