Marketing Designer

We are hiring this position in either of the following Runa Hubs: New York, Denver, Utah or San Francisco. Applicants outside of these locations will not be considered.

Runa is pioneering a first-of-its-kind payment rail capable of issuing, sending and accepting digital value at scale.

Banking and card payment infrastructure still struggles to serve low-volume, high-velocity payments both locally and globally. Businesses send over $20 trillion in refunds, rewards, or remittances to consumers, employees, or freelancers, every year and waste thousands of hours, incurring costs of up to 50% per transaction and leaving the people they serve waiting days to receive their money.

Runa is transforming the payouts landscape with a new digital payments infrastructure that enables businesses to send digital value to anyone, anywhere instantly, free of charge for senders and recipients. Recipients can immediately spend the value they receive on the Runa network including 4000 plus payout types across 37 countries, completely independently of the legacy card rails. Hundreds of leading companies rely on Runa to power instant, flexible global payouts to tens of millions of consumers including Sodexo, TopCashback, Perkbox, Sweatcoin, Coinbase and Globetopper.

The Role:

We’re looking for a Marketing Designer to play a key role in supporting and evolving our brand identity as we scale. In this role, you will work independently on design projects while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and impactful visual storytelling. You will contribute to the development of our website, marketing assets, and advertising campaigns, helping to bring our brand to life through compelling design.

What Excites You:

Executing design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with marketing initiatives and brand guidelines.
Supporting the evolution of our brand identity, maintaining design consistency across digital and print assets.
Creating detailed mock-ups and prototypes for Runa’s website pages and collaborating with the web development team on implementation.
Partnering with the demand generation team to optimize ad creatives and marketing visuals for performance-driven campaigns.
Designing high-quality marketing and sales collateral, including sales decks, email templates, eBooks, and one-pagers.
Contributing to video production projects, collaborating with external agencies to develop engaging brand content.
Ensuring design best practices and quality standards, receiving and incorporating feedback from senior team members.

What Excites Us:

You’re an established yourself as a creative Marketing Designer, preferably within a tech or B2B environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful design work.
A proactive mindset, able to take initiative and manage multiple design projects independently. You focus on implementing design best practices and supporting strategic marketing initiatives.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ensuring design choices align with marketing and branding objectives.
A collaborative team player, working effectively with cross-functional teams, presenting design solutions and receptive to feedback. You seek opportunities to develop your skills and contribute to process improvements within the design function.
Experience in a startup or scale-up environment with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
