Job Summary

Rivia Mind Psychotherapists provide clinical social work services and psychotherapy to patients through a primarily telehealth environment. Our practice leverages clinical experience and a diverse knowledge base to provide quality care and reliable service. This individual will utilize their expertise in Psychotherapy modalities (i.e. CBT, MI, DBT, etc.) to provide access to reliable, quality care in the communities we serve.

Anticipated Start Date: Based on the length of the interview process, the candidate chosen, their resignation period, and our needs, we anticipate it will be between 14-60 days from extending an offer. The target range to start is between March and April, 2025. 

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent quality clinical care on a consistent basis that exemplifies Rivia Mind’s culture, values, and guiding principles
• Conduct comprehensive intake evaluations and develop curated patient-centered treatment plans
• Provide appropriate Psychotherapy practices that leverage various modalities (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)
• Provide clinical support & counseling to diverse patient populations in a telehealth environment
• Service and maintain a weekly average standard of 31 patients
• Coach patients on how to manage ongoing health conditions and provide therapy to help patients make positive behavior changes
• Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems
• Comply with clinical standards and adhere to timely and thorough session note documentation
• Participation in Rivia Mind supervision groups, trainings, and attendance of department and organization meetings
  • Weekly Group Supervision - case discussion, knowledge sharing, guidance, etc. 
  • Frequent 1:1 Supervisor/Supervisee meetings
  • Weekly Clinical-Wide Meeting - case presentations, guest speakers, training, etc. 
• Promote a friendly work culture that encourages a fun, collaborative, and co-learning environment that benefits individuals well-being, self-improvement and potential
• Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by department and group leaders

Qualifications

Required Education Level: Master's

Education Details: Master in Social Work

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• LMSW – New York State License to Practice Clinical Social Work
• Modality Certifications preferred
• Additional LMSW state licensure is a plus

Additional Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

• At least one (1) years of experience practicing Psychotherapy
• Experience or desire to work with Couples is a plus
• Confidently and efficiently document concurrently within patient sessions
• Experience working with Patients in an Outpatient setting
• Use of Psychotherapy Modalities for Individuals
• Life Skills Support/Coaching
• Electronic health records (EHR) Software
• Crisis Management
• Intake Evaluation, DSM Diagnosis and Formation of Treatment Plans
• Behavioral Therapy Management
• Stress Management
• Multi-Disciplinary Teamwork
• Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)
• Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required

Compensation & Employment Details

Pay Range: $60,000 - $77,500

Bonus Potential: Up to $1,000 per quarter

Pay Type: Salary

Supervisor: Director of Psychotherapy and Supervisors

Employment Status: Full Time (40 hours a week – patient standard and compensation will be proportionate)

Exemption Status: Exempt W-2

Work Schedule

We collaborate with each provider to determine a mutually beneficial and sustainable schedule. Our focus is to develop a supportive schedule that meets both the needs of our patients and the providers' preferences. 

EXAMPLE: Full-Time Position (Assuming 40 hours a week): 

• Cumulative 40 hours a week - within our hours of operation of M-F: 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 5 pm
• Include at least 4 or more hours within your schedule to be after 5pm on a Weekday, or to have hours on the weekend. 
• On-call is also not required, but checking and responding to emails on a daily basis is
• If Hybrid, one day per week on-site is required and it would be the same day of the week each week (I.e. Every Monday)
• Having a consistent weekly schedule is necessary, but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week as a set recurring schedule.
•  For example, your schedule could be Monday: 9am to 5pm, Tuesday: 11am to 7pm, Wednesday: 8am to 6pm, Thursday: 10am to 6pm, Friday: 8am to 2pm. 

Your schedule will be determined with you before starting the role.
