Description

Escrow PMI Specialist supports the daily administration payment and processing of tasks within the Escrow PMI Department.    This individual is responsible for performing all PMI functions and meeting requirements as established by management while adhering to quality work and productivity quantitative goals.   Knowledge of mortgage servicing specifically in PMI processing is preferred and more broadly mortgage servicing as it relates to general escrow functions and impacts to the customer. This individual must be able to meet customer satisfaction levels in World Class Manner for PMI Vendors and UHM customers.   This role requires updating procedures and training tools where regulatory change may necessitate adjustments to the UHM Policies and Procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Demonstrates adherence to the UHM Code of Conduct.

  • Daily ensure SLAs are met, productivity goals are achieved, and the efficiency within the Escrow PMI Team is maximized.
  • Communicate with the other team members and other internal partners concerning any issues that may result from service requests.
  • Provide assistance to new hires while training is being conducted, accept calls and make outbound calls to customers to answer questions they have about the servicing of their PMI service request.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of posted Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
  • Work closely with trainers and training department to develop job aides/training materials/tools for use amongst team or interdepartmentally to establish consistency throughout the team.
  • Assist in onboarding newly hired partners.
  • Execute other duties and special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of experience in a mortgage servicing functional department with demonstrated accomplishments of contributions to continuous improvements is preferred.
  • Multiple mortgage servicing department experience preferred

 

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient using systems required for the role assigned.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates commitment to and accepts responsibility for their work.
  • Personal Organization.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and dependability.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines and goals in a fast-paced environment.
