ACA Insurance Sales Agent
$20/hr

Job Summary:

As an Office Sales Insurance Agent, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring new clients and building lasting relationships from our office location. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively connect with potential customers through phone, email, and virtual meetings, educate them on our insurance products, and offer personalized solutions that meet their specific needs. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping clients find the right coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Conduct research to identify potential clients and generate leads through various channels, including cold-calling, referrals, virtual networking events, and online platforms.
  • Client Consultation: Schedule virtual appointments with prospects and conduct in-depth consultations to understand their insurance requirements, risk profiles, and financial objectives.
  • Insurance Solutions: Present and explain suitable insurance products and coverage options to clients via phone or video conferencing, considering their unique circumstances and budgetary constraints.
  • Customized Proposals: Prepare and deliver personalized insurance proposals tailored to each client's needs, ensuring they understand the coverage and benefits offered.
  • Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, addressing concerns, and offering additional products or policy adjustments as needed.
  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, changes in regulations, and competitor offerings to position our agency as a trusted and informed resource.
  • Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the growth and success of the agency.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the internal team, including underwriters and customer service representatives, to streamline processes and ensure smooth client interactions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and relevant information using our CRM system.
  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Sales Experience: Proven track record in inside or office-based sales, preferably in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Insurance Expertise: Current FFM Certification and familiarity with various insurance products, policies, and coverage options.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Customer-Centric: A passion for helping others and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Self-Motivated: Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage time efficiently.
