About the opportunity
We are seeking expressions of interest for Leading Hands to join our Rail team in Queensland, supporting the delivery of key rail infrastructure projects. This role is based regionally, approximately three hours north of Brisbane, and will see you working closely with site supervisors and crews to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Supervising and supporting work crews to ensure tasks are completed to project standards.
Maintaining safe work practices and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Assisting with planning and coordinating daily site activities.
Reporting progress to Supervisors and Project Engineers to keep projects on track.

What you’ll bring to the team

Experience as a Leading hand in rail or civil construction.
A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality work standards.
The ability to follow project plans and lead by example.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
A Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
