Note: APA operates on a 37.5-hour work week with one hour lunch breaks each day. APA sets salaries based on several considerations, including years of relevant experience, level of education, and previous staff and/or governance experience at APA.
The purpose of this position is to carry out the mission of the American Psychological Association – to advance the creation, communication, and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve people’s lives – in relation to increasing the number of training opportunities APA members, Minority Fellowship program participants and community stakeholders. This purpose is carried out by providing leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of national training programs focusing on practice and research in these communities. This position is 100% funded by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration through September 30, 2029.
