Role Overview:

Otis Elevator Company is on the lookout for a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Director of Parts Transformation. In this pivotal role, you will craft the Spare Parts strategy to deliver a top-tier ordering experience, exceptional service, and enhanced productivity.

Your mission will be to significantly elevate spare part center performance in terms of delivery, quality, inventory management, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing a global transformation approach for parts centers and developing a roadmap for future global advancements. This is a remote position with up to 30% travel.

On a typical day you will:

  • Design global part center transformation execution approach and develop the future global roadmap.

  • Standardize and digitalize major end-to-end processes globally.

  • Lead global common solution and systems development.

  • Drive alignment with peer functions and regions.

  • Lead benchmarking with best-in-class service centers.

  • Design global standard performance KPIs and monitor performance.

  • Build business cases for global programs and support regions in developing their business cases.

  • Support regions to optimize organization and supply chain performance.

  • Design and execute transformation review cadence.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or other relevant degree

  • Knowledge and insight in service operations in general. Ability to systematically identify and analyze network-wide opportunities and challenges, and make sustainable, high-impact recommendations on value-generating enhancements.

  • Strong change management skills, dynamically operating in a fast-moving environment.

  • Ability to look ahead and anticipate/assess the system-wide impact and consequence of specific adjustments to the manufacturing/operations network.

  • Skilled at leading strategy and innovation with a forward-looking proactive orientation, bringing imagination (new and fresh thinking) to the extended team.

  • Ability to formulate a strategic plan aligned to business requirements ensuring sustained competitiveness.

  • Learning mindset, continually open to new developments and curious about meta-trends and their impact.

  • Resilient in tackling challenges, dealing with problems, and addressing issues.

  • Demonstrated success as a change agent and advocate for change.

  • Strong team developer, with excellent collaboration skills. Passionate about establishing a culture of belonging; a visible champion of this work.

  • Experience in supply chain management, spare parts, and aftermarket parts

The salary range for this role is $196,000 - $294,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future.  Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This position will be eligible for an annual bonus.
