NXP’s Radar System Solutions play an essential role in automotive ADAS, enhancing road safety and increasing driver convenience. NXP offers a scalable portfolio of highly integrated, safe, and secure product families—including MMICs, processors, and SoCs—that address increasing safety requirements and enable autonomous driving levels 2+ and beyond.

We are building the next generation of Radar System Solutions, with the Radar Front End (RFE) Software team playing a critical role in developing high-quality automotive embedded software. The RFE is a key component of the software system, responsible for transmitting, receiving, and processing RF signals before passing them to a backend processor. It significantly influences radar accuracy, range, and overall performance.

  • We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Software Program Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of RF-related software programs for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and other automotive applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management in the Business line. Key stake holders are Engineering program managers, Program Directors and PL R & D Managers located in India and Europe.
  • Own the Content and Delivery of the software for different product lines in the BL with primary focus on Software for ADAS products.
  • Resource Pipeline management and competence management of the team according to the automotive requirements
  • Influence technical strategies, site strategies and business directions that consistently improve the productivity of the software teams and contribute to faster time to market of the products.

Profile:

Must Have:

  • Technical manager who can lead a team of strong firmware and software engineers developing radar products
  • Have 10+ years’ experience in leading teams developing embedded products with focus on firmware and application software development.
  • Know how or experience of working in Radar SW development.
  • Proven experience delivering Software Development Kits and tools for high end microcontrollers.
  • Experienced in change management, SW development processes like SW Build, Test and Release management
  • Knowledge of ASPICE, Functional Safety (FuSa)  and other Automotive quality processes are a plus
  • Lead Agile teams, manage project execution, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks, including their practical implementation.
  • Skills in negotiations, influencing and dealing with conflicting interests.
  • Proven record in stepping in (and fast development) in new areas, eager to learn, develop, adopt and implement new methods.
  • Strong communicator to management stake holders at the high level of abstraction and must be on eye level with communication to SW/HW architects.
  • Good communication skills and experience in presenting yourself and your team, both orally and in writing in English
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Preferred:

  • Experience with multi-disciplinary / multi-sites located in Germany, Netherlands, France and India
  • Experience in Software Development for Automotive domain
  • Experience in RF domain is highly preferred
  • Knowledge on ADAS and radar domain and test software development is preferred.
  • Good understanding and experience of Project Management methodologies like PMP, SAFe Agilist, or Scrum Master (CSM or equivalent).
  • Experience in System Engineering in a embedded environment
  • Leadership skills to inspire, motivate and coordinate a high performing project team.

Contract: This is a fulltime position with a permanent contract
