As an Operations Testing COE Team member, you would support the Operations Testing Team. Your responsibilities will range from testing client benefits and ensuring they are set up correctly to supporting the team's best practices and training needs. You will partner with Ops Testing leadership to identify opportunities and support process improvement of testing team members’ technical Skills and Behaviors. Bringing efficiency, sustainment, and calibration to the Team's skills. You also will support our Knowledge Management strategies, adoption, and sustainment.
What You’ll Do
Testing Support
- Independently develop test plans for group benefit design requests
- Perform verification/quality assurance and system testing within contractual timeframe agreements
- Provide consultative support to clients by researching and assisting with the resolution of benefit design and claims issues
- Track and report progress to leadership to ensure deadlines are met
- Assist with more complex setups, projects, or complex audits as needed
- Use independent judgment and discretion to accurately and efficiently implement a testing plan
- Use critical thinking to work autonomously, to plan, create, execute, and troubleshoot testing successfully
- Exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures
Operations Testing Team Support
- Lead efforts to ensure best practices, consistency, and calibration in testing processes across all business units
- Partner with Operations Testing leadership to identify opportunities to support process improvement for metrics, technical Skills, and behaviors
- Become an early adopter of any new Knowledge Management strategies
- Provide support for our Knowledge Management strategies, adoption, and sustainment
- Assist in the build, roll-out, and sustainment of a standard training and certification model through onboarding, skill transfer, and sustainment of skills and knowledge
- Identify and be accountable for the adoption and adherence to Operations Testing Best Practices
- Lead and influence by example
- Effectively manage time to balance job responsibilities and tasks, prioritizing to meet deadlines
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years’ Coaching and Training experience preferred
- 2+ years’ Quality experience preferred
- Client-facing role or experience with direct client interaction is preferred
- Strong data management and technical skills
- Strong Analytical thinking with advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize, manage workload, and successfully meet project and tight client deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and independent thinking
- Ability to think strategically while solving tactical challenges
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment and make independent decisions
- Strong customer service focus
- Strong ability to work with other departments/ teams to resolve issues
- KCS Advisor or Mentor licensure preferred
- Proven success in motivating and developing others
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Strong verbal/written communication skills with the ability to navigate, communicate, and present in a matrixed or client-facing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote) and WebEx Tools
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
We expect this role to be virtual/work from home and the shift to be Monday through Friday during regular business hours. The individual will need to be flexible with work schedule and PTO at times throughout the year. For example, during our peak implementation periods, standardly in June and July and November through January, onboarding support requests, and business support needs.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 67,200 - 112,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
