Agile Six is a people-first, remote-work company that partners shoulder-to-shoulder with federal agencies to create innovative, human-centered solutions. Our Just Cause is to “build better by putting people first”, and we are animated by our core values of Purpose, Wholeness, Trust, Self-Management, and Inclusion.
As a growing organization, we take a different approach to growth: we pursue purpose-driven work that aligns with our values and culture. We believe traditional business development practices, such as commission structures and bonuses, lead to misaligned incentives. Instead, we focus on collaboration, listening, and responding to the needs of clients, partners, and our team. If you’re passionate about building a better government and fostering relationships based on trust, we’d love to hear from you!
The Role
Agile Six is seeking a Proposal Strategist to join our Proposal Team. This is not a typical proposal development position. We’re not looking for someone who works in traditional, process-heavy ways. Instead, we seek someone who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment, where flexibility and team outcomes matter more than rigid processes. We believe overly prescriptive proposal processes often provide a false sense of security at the expense of creativity and true collaboration. At Agile Six, we:
- Collaborate until the last responsible moment instead of spending time on laborious, formalized reviews.
- Prioritize gathering context over relying on traditional BD structures.
- Focus on the entire set of needs—of our clients, partners, and team members.
In this role, you’ll drive proposal management, content development, and submission activities while fostering trust-based collaboration across Agile Six teams. We really care about what we do, and we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for building a better government through purposeful work. While proposal work sometimes requires additional hours to meet deadlines, we commit to wholeness through wellness time, flexibility, and an ongoing dialogue around balance.
